Exploring My Own City
I was born and raised in Johor Bahru but now I'm pursuing my studies in Tanjung Malim Perak which is 411km away from where I was born. Last weekend I went back to my hometown and I decided to go for a sightseeing and I'm going to take my readers to explore the city together with me. Let's go !

First of all, Johor Bahru is the state capital of Johore in southern peninsular Malaysia, Johor Bahru is a rapidly growing city.

First place is Jalan Segget or also known as Bazar Karat. It’s the same as Jonker Walk in Malacca. Just a normal street during the day, but a super duper  busy road at night. There are numerous number of stalls available, you can get almost everything you want there, from clothes to household furnitures, foods and drinks, accessories and a lot more. It starts from 4p.m. until 3a.m. every day. It’ll be so packed when it comes to Hari Raya or any other festivals. If you're lucky, you may find a street buskers. There’re a lot of cafes around there too. You just have to walk and explore more so that you can find more!

Next is Danga Bay. It used to be my favourite place when I was a kid but to be honest I still love it until now hehe. It’s just like a mini fun fair where you have to change your money into tokens and you can enjoy the games. There are a carousal, haunted house, pirate ship, bumper car and a lot more. What’s make it different than other fun fair is just it’s by the sea side. You can feel the breeze while enjoying the games.

There're a lot more places to explore in Johore that I will share in the next entry. But the next entry is more specifically, it's all about Nusajaya.
